And here she is with my Friend Myranda right before we left to go to the Library for all kinds of fun & games, even trick-or-treating!

I think Mia liked the parachute the best. This isn't the best picture, but it's the best I have. I have a video, but I don't know how to post it, so this is what you get to see. look how well she is doing sitting quietly paying attention with her friend Luke (in the gray) who just happened to be there.

1. I have my camera...you never know when that will come in handy

2. Mia's immunization records

3. a coupon organizer thing. I've recently taken up clipping coupons, it's kinda fun.

4. a key ring with all my rewards cards on it, I hate having those things on my keys, so I keep them separate.

5. my wallet/planner

6. a small container with honey wheat crackers in it for Mia of course

7. 3 types of lip stuff. 1-cherry chap stick 2-love potion Jones soda chap stick & 3-sheer strawberry conditioning lip shine from bath & body works (I love it, it's super shiny)

8. a disposable table topper, it is a place mat that sticks to the table at restaurants & stuff for babies

9. a bibster aka a disposable bib.

10. a diaper & wipes bag thingy (that I made, I['m so proud of it)

11. one size 4 diaper (Huggies)

12. a wipe holder w/ plenty of wipes in it.

13. $5.54 in change!

14. check book

15. 3 pens, black, green & blue

16. A hide-a-key that is supposed to be under my car somewhere, but hasn't made it there.

17. Dove cream oil lotion

18. Pad of lined paper

19. twist up crayons for times when I need Mia to sit still like church (mostly).

Holy Cow that's a lot, I have recently switched from carrying a diaper bag around to just carrying a purse. someday I will be able to get rid of a lotof that junk. Maybe.

Proxy post for Kari

For those of you who are curious, this is a Garrek Update. My sister Kari has a blog however has never posted anything on it. She just sent me some pics. so now I'm going to blog about him for her. (in proxy). She now has a functioning camera and has promised to get blogging.

I can't believe how big he is now, I still picture him being just 8 weeks old. Well now he is 5 months old. He loves to eat real food, well he loves to suck on it anyway & he thinks it's funny to eat baby food. Kari said he always laughs when she gives him a spoon full and he tries to suck on it ant it just falls a part, it totally cracks him up. (I told her to get it on video and out it on her blog., I can't wait to see it) He also loves to do acrobatics with his dad. He likes to be thrown up in the air and tossed and twirled around. He has finally stopped being colicky, and is now a very fun, well behaved baby. Kari - I guess all you patience has paid off. Good work!

OUCH!!!

Remember when I said I was worried about our first electric bill, because we had some malfunctions.... well it came. And OUCH is all I have to say, $442.68. Yowza!

Good thing it's starting to cool down. We've only had our AC on twice this week, and only for a few hours during the hottest part of the afternoon.

Doing My Part to Protect My Beliefs

Man this post is harder to write than I thought it would be. It started when I read the post on My aunt Meli's blog & thought that it was a good Idea, and I should do my part to stand up for what I believe to be correct too, but as I started to type I was at a loss of words. I started typing my opinion which is obviously pro marriage. Mariage being between a man and a woman, but then as I continued to go on about how just because I felt that way it didn't mean I was narrow minded or a gay hater, but that I felt that we were all Gods children, I felt like I was trying to make excuses for why I am going to vote yes on proposition 102 & that wasn't what I wanted to do, so... take it for what it is and I'm sorry if you are offended, that is not my intention.

Pre-Potty Training

OK, so I convinced that Mia is going to be easy to potty train. She loves sitting on the toilet, but has not gone yet. When she turns 18 months I am going to really try to do it. Now before you go off thinking I'm crazy, because she's too young let me tell you this; Lance & I were both very easy to potty train & were both totally trained before we were two years old, so hopefully Mia will fall in our footsteps. So that being said, do any of you moms have any trick or methods that have worked for you? (Please let me know I'm really interested)

One morning I was taking a shower & Mia was just hanging out in the bathroom and when I got out I found this. she is too cute. I love that girl.

Hi every one, In case anyone forgot my name is Kelli & I enjoy blogging.
O.K. so my funk lasted a little longer than I had projected, but all is well and I am ready to resume my blogging responsibilities. We are totally moved into our house, & we love it, the space is wonderful. I'm a little worried about our first electric bill though we have already had to repair the AC twice,(thank goodness we are renting) it was just running and running all day without even working so who knows what's going to happen with that. I don't have a lot of time right now but soon I will get y'all updated with whats' been going on with us
