Pardon My Pause

Sorry about the long hiatus from blogging. It started with me feeling like I was getting hit with what seemed like a lot of trials all at once. Which I didn't want to talk about with any one, which is why I didn't blog about it, & which I"m sure made it harder, who knows why people react the way they so when tough times hit, but anyway, now that I feel like I am able to see sunshine at the end of that dark tunnel my hiatus is ending with a move. we are moving into a house! Even though we are just renting it, I am so excited to have all the space & be in a place that will be able to accommodate all the things I want to do; from crafts, & gardening, (yes you can have a garden in AZ) to entertaining friends & family. We will be totally out of our apartment this weekend, so just give me a week or two after that to get all settled in then I will be back to blogging. Hooray!

I'm in Tag heaven, This one is the ABC tag

I got tagged twice in one day! Thanks Tiffany. This one took a little bit of time so I didn't post it right a way. Here are the ABC's about me.

A is for Age I am

B is for Burger, I love In & Outs double double with no onion, but rarely get them because I trick myself into thinking I'm being healthier by just getting a regular cheese burger. And I am being healthieER right?

C is for Car, I drive a 2001 Camry (gotta love it)

D is for Dogs name, I don't have a dog, I have a fish, & his name is... well if you ask Lance it's Jet, but if you ask me, I don't' know what his name is.

E is for Essential item, no, it's not Mia, although she is important, it's her binky, it truly is the key to a happy baby, I dread the day I have to take it away. How will I ever get her to go to sleep? I'm giving her until she is 2.

F is for Favorite TV show at the moment, & I don't have one right now. But I am usually a sucker for reality TV though.

G is for Game, right now my favorite game is Phase 10, I love it!

H is for Home state, I'm from California, I was born in Utah (BYU baby) but moved to CA when I was 2 & lived there my whole life until now.

I is for Instruments you play, I don't play the guitar, but I have one & I want to, I took a class in college I learned nothing. Someday.

J is for favorite Juice, I LOVE orange Juice, it's fantastic, & it's great when mixed with other juices too. You can't go wrong with OJ.

K is for who's bum you would like to Kick: This is Tuesday (yes that really is her name) & she is my least favorite one of Lances X-girlfriends from high school, I've never met her, but I don't care for her. In reality if I really did meet her I would probably hide. I don't want to meet her.

L is for last restaurant that you ate at, I'm pretty sure it was Famous Dave's, it was my first time going there, & it was pretty good. I'm not a huge meat on the bone kind of girl, so it's not one of my favorite places to eat but it was good.


M is for favorite Muppet, weird I know, I just do what the tag says.

N is for Number of piercings you have. I have had 6, all in my ears, currently I have 4,but I have only used 2 of them for years, the other 2 just won't close up.

O is for Overnight hospital stays, just when Mia was born it was a 4 night stay, having toxemia really stinks, I do not recommend it. Look at how swollen you get...blah!

P is for people you were with today. I was with Mia & Lance of course, but i was also with my friend Milton, he came home for lunch with lance today & my friend Bianca came over and we made these super yummy doughnut muffins.

Q is for what do you do with your Quiet time? You're reading it, I blog, clean, watch TV & Talk on the phone, usually to my sister.

R is, What is your biggest Regret, not being smarter with our money when we went from two incomes to one when Mia was born. Having debit is a hard & humbling lesson to learn.

S is Status, I was Married Dec. 10, 2005 in the San Diego Temple & I can't access any of my wedding pics so...too bad fro me.

T is Time I woke up, 7:40 thanks for sleeping in Mia!

U something Unique about me is, I quilt. I know that's not very unique, but I bet you guys didn't know.

V. is for favorite Vegetable, I like most vegetables but right now I would have to say my fav. are green beans, fresh not canned,

W is for worst habit, I would have to say my worst habit is procrastinating, I always put things off until the last minute. It's not good I know.

X is for X-Rays I've had. Obviously I've had my teeth, I've also had my hips X-rayed, my hips & I have a love hate relationship.

Y is for Yummy food eaten today, remember when Bianca came over today & we made super yummy doughnut muffins...yum...mine didn't turn out looking this good, but they sure did taste that good, you can get the recipe on my friend Megan's blog http://pickleboatrecipes.blogspot.com/

Tag for real this time

I just got tagged . It's my first official tag, someone actually put my name at the bottom of their tag and I have to say, I'm a little bit excited. It's the simple things in life that bring the most happiness I guess. So I'm supposed to write 6 weird quirks about myself.

Here we go.

1. I HATE doing dishes, (I'd rather scrub a toilet), yet I can not stand to have them in the sink, so I feel like I'm doing dishes all day long. Here is my sink right now. That fork & Knife went straight into the dishwasher after I took this picture. I hate dishes in the sink.

2. I really like eggs but ONLY if they are scrambled (dry), deviled, or in an egg salad sandwich. Any other kind of egg...Yuck. these were in my fridge, hey, you never know when an egg salad sandwich is going to hit the spot.

3. When I was 11 or 12 I had a pet pig. Now I don't eat pork, except bacon & occasionally sausage. Why, they're part of a pig right? I don't' know, it's' just one of my many quirks.

4. I always have to match, even when I'm wearing PJ's. I know nobody is going to see, but the tag is about weird quirks about me remember. I took my cloths off and took this picture so you could see what I"m wearing right now.

5. If someone who is talking to me has a spittle (a string of spit connecting either their teeth or lips) I cant' hear anything they are saying, because I am focusing on that spittle. It gives me the chills just thinking about it, the thicker it is the less I can hear because it is so gross. (Sorry no Pic.)

6. I am ALWAYS tired. I have no problems falling asleep, I get at least 8 hours of sleep a night, but I ALWAYS wake up tired and stay that way all day. If my schedule permits (my house is clean & everything is done) I can take 2 naps a day with Mia and still be tired when it's time to go to bed around 10. I haven't talked to a doctor or participated in a sleep study because I don't want to take sleeping pills, or have to go to bed with one of these things on my face.

It once was lost, but now is found.

Hallelujah!!! The picture discribes how I feel inside. Lance found our camera! It was in his truck under one of the seats! I have no idea how it got there nor do I care. My baby is safe! We were days away from buying a new one, I had done a lot of searching for the best value, now we can save ourselves a couple (or more) hundred bucks. The only problem is... he's on a road trip to Portland this weekend with the boys, to help a friend move from there to here, so I don't get to celebrate just yet. I guess the plus is, he can document his trip, I can't wait to see all the pics.!

Technical difficulties...HELP!

OK, this is not good. I changed my blog background, and I can't figure out how to change all the green parts to match. I thought just changing my background would change everything, but apparently not, so how do I change that? Anyone?
