Now that's better, I really didn't care for that last background, I like this one much better, let em know what you think about it. - oh and thanks Bobbi, Mel & Megan for the help with my last mishap.

Technical difficulties...HELP!

OK, this is not good. I changed my blog background, and I can't figure out how to change all the green parts to match. I thought just changing my background would change everything, but apparently not, so how do I change that? Anyone?

1 year stats

We went to Mia's 1 year appointment and the stats are in. I'm going to compare them to her 9 month stats... just because I feel like it.

At 9 months Mia was 1/4 in. off the charts for her height (does that make her the tallest 9 month old anyone has ever met?) and on the top line ( I guess that is in the 100%) for her weight. (also the heaviest?) Now at her 1 Year appointment she is in the 90% for her height (35 in.) and 75% for her weight. (25 lbs.) So she 's still big, but not as big as she was. Sorry no pics. I still don't have a camera, I'm pretty sure it is with my cell phone (stolen) :(

Happy Birthday Mia

My little baby is one! she is just the sweetest little girl ever! Sometimes it seems like just yesterday that she was a newborn, and sometimes it seems like she has been in our family forever, I don't know what we would do without her sweet spirit around our home.

Some of Mia's loves are; giving Mommy & Daddy slimy kisses, reading books, swimming, she will actually put her face in the water and blow bubbles, she loves dogs, grapes, blueberries, mandarin oranges, watermelon, well any fruit really, she loves to dance, wrestle with daddy, feed the ducks with mommy , and lead the music at church. We love her so much and are so glad that Heavenly Father saw us fit to be her parents.

Mommy made this cake because she thinks I'm a little fish, so we spent the day at

G & G Thorson's in the pool, and it matches my swim suit. She was so proud of herself and it was totally easy to make.

After everyone sang happy birthday I just dug right in to the cake with no hesitations. It was so yummy! Mommy forgot the #1 candle, but I didn't even notice, so everything was fine.

Auntie Cody helped me open & play with all of my gifts.

I made out like a bandit, here I am with all of my goods. Thank you Mommy & Daddy, Grandma & Grandpa Thorson & Auntie Cody For making my first birthday awesome!

Happy Fathers Day!

First to my dad. surprisingly this is hard, there is so much I want to say. but how? You have loved me unconditionally, and taught me important lessons, from Gospel principles, to working hard, and being honest, and you have been an example to me of how a man should be, how he should love his wife, provide for his family and teach his children. I have a lot of good memories with you in them, and look forward to the ones to come, I love you and am grateful for everything you do and have done for me.

This leads me to the next father in my life, my husband Lance, you are the world to me, you are such a great daddy to Mia, she lights up when you come home from work. It doesn't matter if you are just taking out the trash, or if you are making her totally crack up wrestling on the bed, she loves to be with you. She is one lucky little (or not so little) baby to have a daddy like you. We both love you so much and are grateful for the righteous and loving way you preside over our little family. We are so excited to be sealed to you for eternity. We love you so much.

Isn't this picture cute, it was taken with a cell phone, sorry it's not very crisp. It's at Chase field in Phoenix, it was the Diamondbacks v. Padres, so we all (Lance, Mia, & I) wore our Padre hats and were the only Padre fans there, it was so fun trying to cheer loud enough for them to here us. Mia was clapping and cheering too, but at all the wrong parts. She would clap and make noise when the rest of the crowd made noise I guess she was confused about which team she was supposed to be cheering for. Now for the next father

Ron, You helped raise a wonderful son, he must have been taught well. You have always made me feel like I was part of your family and I am convinced that it was you who taught Mia to make a rrrrrr noise while pushing a car - or Jeep in your case around, because it wasn't me or Lance. you have not only bee a great father, but a fabulous Grandpa, we are one lucky family to have you in it! We love and appreciate you.

LOST

I am soooo sad, I have lost my Camera...

How am I supposed to blog without pictures? It is the worst timing too, Mia is turning 1 on Sunday and it's fathers day. And next week, Mia and I are going to California ans we are going to see baby Garrik. This stinks.

Problem solved... hopefully

Lance bought himself a $10 sling shot at big 5 and used it to poke a hole in one of the eggs. We just left it there like that, (grose I Know) the next time we looked, both eggs were gone and there were no pigeons in site, so far it's been 2 days ans the pigeon hasn't come back, so hopefully this is all we have to do. I am not looking forward to cleaning up the mess that was left behind. (Gag) Hopefully Lance will fell up to it. :o)
